Loose Change Farm is now a medical/surgical/lameness facility with complete cooperation regarding instructions for the horse patient either with client's vet or veterinarian on call as well as being a stallion station.

We can offer the mare owner a special price for ultrasounds and artifical insemination for each breeding cycle at $200. Performed by a registered veterinarian that specializes in reproduction. The only other cost would be for the stallion of their choice, shipped semen and of course daily board at $17/day.

We also accept horses in for training

We charge $700. a month.
We work the horses 5 days a week.
Box stall with high quality shaving, cleaned daily and individual turnouts.
Good quality alfalfa hay and grain fed twice a day.
Grooming and bathing daily after workout.  Clipping semi monthly.
Neck sweating if needed.

Typical achievements after 30 days

Lunges,walks trots canters on correct lead and backs under saddle with a bosel.
Head set is started, accepts neck bending and suppleness is worked on.
Accepts tying to a wall, cross ties,baths and clipping.

Typical achievements after 60 days

Continue with basics and switching to a snaffle bit if desired.
Start to slow down at the trot and canter with a more consistent head set.
Starting to neck rein and doing simple change of leads.
